Terms of Service
Effective date: February 2026 · Applies to: The Desk Reset program offered by Bend The Body LLC
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your enrollment in and participation in The Desk Reset, a 12-week online movement and wellness education program offered by Bend The Body LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we," "us," or "Alex"), operated by Michael Alexander Wainright.
By submitting the waitlist form, making a payment, or participating in any element of The Desk Reset, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in The Desk Reset. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
This program is designed for adults experiencing chronic or recurring discomfort associated with desk work. It is not designed for individuals who are currently recovering from surgery, experiencing acute injury, or who are unable to get up and down from the floor unassisted. If you are unsure whether the program is appropriate for your situation, we encourage you to reach out before enrolling. We will discuss your specific circumstances during the intake call and reserve the right to decline enrollment if we believe the program is not a safe or appropriate fit.
If you are currently under the care of a physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, or other healthcare provider for a relevant condition, you may be asked to obtain written clearance from that provider before beginning the program. Nothing in this program is intended to replace the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
Payment and Refund Policy
Pricing. The founding cohort rate is $997 USD. This rate is available to the first 10 enrollees only. Future cohorts will be priced at $1,197.
Payment methods. Payment is processed through Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. An installment option of three payments is available — all installments must be completed in full before the program start date. Contact us during your intake call to arrange installment billing.
First Week Guarantee. We stand behind this program. If you complete your first week — defined as attending the first live group class and completing your first two micro-reset sessions — and do not feel the program is right for you for any reason, contact us within seven days of the program start date and we will issue a full refund. No additional justification is required.
After the first week, all payments are final and non-refundable. By enrolling beyond the First Week Guarantee window, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to evaluate the program and that no further refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including inability to attend sessions, personal scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances.
Refund requests under the First Week Guarantee must be submitted by email to alex@bendthebody.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
Session Recordings and Consent
All live group classes and group coaching calls conducted via Zoom will be recorded. Recordings are made available to enrolled participants for personal use only and are not to be shared, distributed, or published without written permission from Bend The Body LLC.
By enrolling in The Desk Reset, you provide explicit written consent to be recorded during live group sessions. Your image and voice may appear in session recordings. Recordings are shared only with enrolled members of your cohort and are not used for any promotional purpose without your separate written consent.
If you do not wish to appear on camera during a live session, you may keep your camera off at any time. Your audio will still be captured when your microphone is active. If you have concerns about recording, please contact us before enrolling.
Private 1-on-1 sessions will not be recorded without your explicit verbal consent at the start of each session.
Program Delivery and Scheduling
The Desk Reset is delivered over 12 consecutive weeks and includes live group classes, group coaching calls, pre-recorded micro-reset videos, and three private 1-on-1 sessions per participant.
Live session times are tentatively scheduled for Sunday afternoons (group class) and Wednesday evenings (coaching call), subject to adjustment based on cohort availability. Final times will be confirmed before the program begins.
The program does not offer pause or deferral options. If you miss live sessions, recordings will be made available for catch-up. Private 1-on-1 sessions are flexible and can be scheduled at any point during the 12-week window.
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to program content, scheduling, or delivery format. We will communicate any material changes to enrolled participants by email with reasonable notice.
Content Ownership and Permitted Use
All program content — including micro-reset videos, recorded group sessions, written materials, and coaching content — is the intellectual property of Bend The Body LLC. Upon completion of the program, enrolled participants are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to retain and use the recordings and materials for their own ongoing practice.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from any program content without prior written permission from Bend The Body LLC.
WhatsApp Group
Enrolled participants are invited to join a private WhatsApp group for cohort communication. Participation in the group is optional but encouraged. You agree to treat fellow participants with respect and to keep the contents of the group confidential. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the group for conduct that is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to other members.
Health and Safety Disclaimer
The Desk Reset is a movement and wellness education program. It is not medical treatment, physical therapy, or clinical care of any kind. Participation does not establish a patient-provider relationship.
Movement involves inherent physical risk. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in physical activity and that you assume responsibility for your own safety during all sessions. You agree to listen to your body, work within your own limits, and stop any movement that causes sharp, acute, or worsening pain.
Results vary. Nothing on our website or in program materials constitutes a guarantee of specific physical outcomes. Individual experience depends on many factors including existing health conditions, consistency of participation, and individual physiology.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bend The Body LLC and Michael Alexander Wainright shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in The Desk Reset, including but not limited to physical injury, loss of data, or loss of income.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Continued participation in the program after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
